Cara & Wesley
Cara and Wesley got married at The Lenox on Saturday, January 27, 2018. Now that Cara has had some time to reflect, she has shared all the most memorable moments of their big day with us!
The Bride & Groom
My husband Wesley and I met in Chicago around New Years Eve in 2015. I was moving to Boston for school and he was living in San Francisco at the time. Our Mom’s, who are friends, thought we should meet and set us up on a blind date. We hit it off and spent the next three days together before we had to go back to Boston and San Francisco. After five months of dating long distance, Wesley moved out to Boston and six months after that we got engaged!
Why The Lenox for Your Wedding?
Wesley and I lived at the Avalon building next door to The Lenox, and frequently went to City Table and Solas for dinner. We just loved The Lenox Hotel and decided to make an appointment to check out the venue. After meeting with Alison, the wedding planner, we knew that this was the perfect wedding venue for our ceremony. Alison was down to earth and professional, and I knew instantly she was going to be great to work with. Alison made this weekend the most special time of our lives. She knew exactly how to direct the day, anticipating everyone’s needs! I felt so at ease knowing that she was in charge of orchestrating the day.
Another big reason we The Lenox for our wedding was the staff. Everyone at The Lenox Hotel makes you feel so welcome and the customer service is by far the best there is out there! After the wedding weekend was over, all of our guests raved about how wonderful everyone was at The Lenox.
Favorite Moments From Your Wedding Day? (Saturday January 27, 2018)
One of my favorite moments was the first look with Wesley on the rooftop. We lucked out with the weather (that late January weekend) and were able to spend some great first moments together looking out at the city of Boston. Another favorite memory was the ceremony in the beautiful Dome Room. It was so amazing to have everyone you love in one room at the same time. I loved being able to share such a special moment in our lives with our families and dearest friends.
